temping is no the most important thing,
did you remember the day before that i show you the result of none temping, didnt you?
1 bar = about 14.5 pounds
10 bar = about 145 pounds
gravity = 10ms(-2)
145 pounds = 1.5 kckc
kckc jump at a height 2m
s = ut + 0.5gtt
s = 2
...... t = 0.6s ...............................
if kckc's head 14.5kg, kckc's head drop at a height 1m, takes about 0.3 s and reach the pump of the espresso machine, it's app. 10 bar........
the point is dont focus temping, grinder is very important.  |

yup, no tamping appears good espresso
but no tamping means that most of the distribution is even.
the tamped coffee puck have looser distribution at the rim of the filter.
