Yes, 12 -14g is for double shots.
I think single shot basket will never work for me, since double shot basket still can't give me enough espresso...
Say, a double basket can extract up to 30cc or even 45cc (Shing gor said some c-hing can do it.), but I always get only 15-20cc per shot. So, I will never use single shot basket.  |

Thanks, because I felt the coffee is too strong with 13.5 g of coffee beans for single shot. The colour of extraction is dark even at 30 seconds extraction.
In the past, I used 7-8 g for this double basket and the extracted coffee changed to white at 25-30 seconds.

Seems you have a good extraction! The timing is also so ideal!
So, how much (ml or cc) you got in each shot which is in "dark color" (not white color)?
Do you mind to show a shot and put it on Youtube? Thanks.
For mine, I tried my best for couple months. I can only have about 20cc at most which is all dark or brown color without white stuff. |
