Thanks Shing... Yeah, woke up this morning and suddenly saw that thread... hmm, want to get my hands on the 4020 now...
Actually, after a weeak's research, I took my CFO (aka wife) to see the 4020 and the Evolution. She didn't like the Evolution because of its plastic shell, and we almost bought the 4020 at Time Square Fortress until we were being told that there will be at least a 2 weeks waiting time for delivery... hate to wait...
Anyways, still wondering do i have to cut the bottom of the handle?
Also, looks like this vivo fllter is a bit small in terms of volumn. will that has any impact?
Sorry for so many question as i am definitely a newbie.
Adding a shelf to the kitchen for these new toys... |

Agree as well. Instead of the 1.7k for Evolution, planning on spending that on the 4020 and a good grinder. Well, not to mention that my CFO won't pay too much notice on the money i spend on the grinder, haha |

Went out for tea with my family, and found a 4020 in stock at a Fortress (last one, not display unit). Bought it immediately and dragged it home, as I couldn't wait for the delivery, haha.
Landy, I think I will come to your shop in the next few days to buy the filter. Is it the F868 one?

*** Sorry that i have caused this thread to be way off topic... ***
Frankly, I like 4050 better 4020, because of the outlook and the memory function. But I decided to save some money by buying the 4020 instead, as I know I'd very likely move on to something more expensive if I really get into the espresso hobby later. So this is more like an entry level machine for me. |
