Hi all,

I have been using EC155 for 3 years and it is time to upgrade my expresso machine.

I have read a lot of comments
(both here and forum oversea)
opinion are quite varied.

My aim:
1) buy a NICE one without need to change for 5+ years
2) budget not a very big concern as long as <10k
3) no need to "self modify"

Gaggia Twin
Pros : dual heater , nice steam ward
Cons : comment so far not that "good" compare to others

Rancilio Sivlia
Pros: Comment are really good (or really bad concerning the thermostat) , people said can be a life long machine
recently on sale from aussie website
Cons: need transport fee / no thermostat

ExpoBar
Pros : we all know
Cons: expensive !!!!

What do u guys recommend ?

Just my own advise.

We all give up Sivlia.

For Gaggia, you may think about Classic instead of Twin.

ExpoBar is good, but expensive, and very large.

I used to made choice between Gaggia Classic and ExpoBar.

Finally, I chose Gaggia Classic, as it's much small, and half price than ExpoBar.

BTW, Gaggia Classic is quite good for me to make my coffee.

Forgot to tell, I used to use Delonghi as well.

Besides of the coffee machine, you are also require a good grinder.
