S??嗰?S?not too bad ah. It makes much better coffee thank the K??4x5x that I used for 9 months. During that 9 months, I sometime will go to MC and enjoy the long black. Since I changed to S??嗰?S?, I sometime will still go to MC to have the same long black but just for top up caffeine purpose.
By the way, is there any cheaper choice and how it compare with little Feima? |

Because of.....em.....em....??.  The Mazzer Mini Electronic A looks pretty. The 600N is hot (some people in this or other forum say that but I just feel it warm). BUT....????is way out of my budget. I will look into the possibility to add a variable speed drive to my 600N and see if it could be cool down.  |

Please do it, I am looking for the result, if you don't mind to share it with us.
Lower down the speed to beat out R_R !!
Actually, I always hope ?? order some modification parts from some vendor to have better price and result than R_R & R_S.
Sell some 600N modified version. What ever the weight and the look.
Since the performance is better anyway.
Best Home Machine within R_R + R_S budget:
I guess is GAGGGIA baby with P.I.D. modification and Speed down 600N !!
I think we may better do a detail review for normal Gaggia & P.I.D.ed Silvia
Rocky to slow down 600N.
Ask ?? gor sin.
Need beans sponsor and try 1 try Gaggia Sponsor.
May be newer version baby and kind of machine.
But Silvia, I think ?? need to try 1 try la.
Or do a overhaul cleaning before make a face to face compare review.
What do you think ah? ?? ?

Do you mind to tell us the problem with your 4050 before ?
Since I used 4020 , its pretty good and even better than R_S.

When using R_S, I think there is problem to make Ristretto.

tried slow down yet, no using freq. inverter, because very expensive, 2 transformers, some electronic parts, but these 2 transformers cost about $600, it is too expensive la, so only step down the voltage, result is, temperature become lower, but power only 1/4, no much power to drive the motor, too bad.
anyone buy these 2 transformers? if yes, i do all my best and technical support to make a freq. inverter to you, 25Hz ~ 50Hz. |

Sell to your customer $600 + $850 for 600N better than $2,600- R_R wor...

What's wrong with my 4x5x?? Nothing wrong except it could not make perfect coffee. I can only use 1.8-2 setting of my 600n to grind and tamp moderately. The flow is a bit fast and coffee came out a bit thin. Anything beyond this setting say grind finer or tamp harder or any other combination, the safety device will be triggered and the machine stop. other than that, 4x5x is fine. I don't drink coffee with milk so I can't comment on the steam part.
For my R-S (PIDed), I am happy with her and can normally make 5-6 fairly good shots out of 10 (other 2-3 is still drinkable and the rest 1-2 is totally sh-------). "Problem to make Restretto"?, I normally use the double filter and 16-17g bean to make 30-40cc coffee. I don't know to call it Espresso or Restretto will be more appropriate.
For the speed control of 600n, I surf the web and found a variable speed drive for 1/2 hp AC moter and cost us$140.-. I will go to Reclaim Street today and see if I can find something smaller and cheaper. Wish me luck. |
