Hi
Have heard a lot of good stories about Krups XP4020, but they stop producing that model now.
Can anyone give me advice, comparing Gaggia Evolution vs. Krups XP4050, which is better?
Which machine does the best espresso and forth milk without any "adjustments" (e.g. filter, mechanically cut the head, etc.)

Thanx for all your quick responses 
But as I have read in other messages, you have to do a lot to the xp4020 in order to make a good cuppa (espresso and forth the milk), including ??"??", copper milk tip, new filter, etc.
Would buying the Evolution means I can save all the fuss and make a good cuppa  |

I think buy Evolution is better than 4050 la, I use both b4..... but If possible, I suggest buy 4020 +??? + ??Filter.....

EOL for 4020? 
At a minimum, you can simply buy a non-pressurized basket. You will get good enough forth by just removing the original tip. I did that for quite some time before I can get the copper one.
Removing the bottom of the portafilter is also not a must.
Btw, Krups is now on sale in Sogo 9/F again till 15/4!
