more or less learn from Shing.

We are same, love good coffee, levers makes excellent espresso.
There are few brands - new levers still in production.
If you are interest, I can introduce some good machine/s for you.
Yes, old machine sometimes with little problem;
but mine 1971 made is cheaper than new made more than HKD$10,000-.
Including the service fee for all new gaskets and parts.
It worths, the design with not much differences to the new model.
The out look almost the same as new model, you can find it on internet.
And the old model with 95% mechanic parts.
Just clean it and change some very old parts.
Of course, the outlook depends on you .
I am lucky to have one of the oldest spout which at the bottom of the PF.
I haven't seen another one same as mine on any web.
Due to more than 30years age, I guess people always lost the PF by any reasons.
On the other hand, 60-70's produced machine always with better condition with the shell coating until now.
80-90's may be a little worst with the coating of the casing. Anyway, it is made by hand, I mean many parts.
Some machine/s I have seen on web with good condition too; but without an original same generation PF, they got the newer original replacement.
The handle of the PF and lever made by an artist as Gaggia first lever and like Michelin Bibendum shape with a good tamper with same shape too.
