My understanding is that you ask whether anybody will use this thing for home use?

This machine is for high volume cafe as you can see it at Knockbox Coffee Company which has been using uberboiler at about 9 months, the first cafe in Hong Kong to use this product. (This is not the first in Hong Kong and the first one is beyond any reach by the public so I won't count that). I wonder you need it at home unless you have lots of people at home drinking coffee all the time.

Haha indeed. The price sounds quite forbidding to me too. But who know, there're always "enthusiasts" out there.
