How about Kosmo at the entrance of Lan Kwai Fong. (opposite Starbucks)

I haven't had the coffee at the Central branch but tried an espresso at its Pacific Place 3 branch before and believe it should be roughly the same.


The bean reminded me of Zambra, ie body, crema and kinda high in caffeine.

In I.F.C. few shops next to the Pacific Coffee -> Star Ferry direction.

I don't remember the name of the cafe ? restaurant ?, there are some curtains on the windows.
And they have 2 grinders on the table; when you look inside from the windows.

Kosmo, I love their juice very much.
On the other hand, if you allowed to have an espresso machine in your office.
600N + 4020 + other ass. = about $2000 to have ever best espresso.
Which = 2 people x $30 ~ $60 each time = $2000 / 90 each time = 23 times.

D.I.Y. is the best cafe in town...

Re:bib - i have 4020 and 600N and some accessories as well, you are right, the best coffee is always at home.

but sometimes i would love to hang out with friends and chill out on sofa with coffee and music...etc.. see if i can have a place to do that...
and most of the time, central is a place i hang out the most...
and i have tried a few, quite okay tho
one is call "Joyce is not here" in Peel street - chill out place, quiet, good music, pretty okay food, nice coffee but its not like a local people eatout place
and one in Le Rideau nearby...(but they use Nespresso) - very nice second floor bar and cafe with cool jazz and live performance. havent tried their food... but very relaxing..


I have tried Kosmo, um..... sort of like starbucks.... but i quite like their bread. i have been to cafe little too....
