For same weight of ground coffee on VST basket, in Expobar leva 1, the central portion of ground coffee in VST basket which was compressed by flat tamper touched the lower central part of curved shower screen. But ground coffee compressed by convex tamper did not touch shower screen. i.e. the shape of compressed ground coffee which was compressed by flat tamper was destroyed when the portafilter was put into the brew head.
