I got back my Krups Espresso Uno bought 10 years ago in Australia. I tested it tonight and it worked well. It seems to me Uno is a bit better without any modification. May consider to sale the brand new XP4020 bought last Saturday.

If the only difference is the nozzle design, you can get a replacement bronze steam tip from Landy.

your suggestion is a option. The old one is made in Italy but 10 years old. The parts, in particular the removable water tank and filters may not available now. I may take it back to my office and use it daily and see how it goes.

For XP4020, I may a nozzle from Landy latter.
