Agree with littlelittle.

There is a pillow review of 4020 , very detail.

Grinder almost needed to adjust 2 times everyday in some good cafe.

Practice more and dun SUM KUP; make sure use same weight of bean and temp it with same way and pressure.

* I always fully warm up 4020 even release the steam 2 times.
flush 2times before making or test any shot.

Should be too fast bor, grind it *Finer , more beans or tamp a bit harder if 18-20 sec / 30cc should be 25-28 sec 30cc wor... TRY 13.2-13.8 gram !!
Grind 2 gram more to feed the grinder; old ground stay inside the machine after last time you grind, right ?
Before 1st testing shot everyday you better use few gram beans to let the new beans refill the last time old beans inside the grinder burr.
1st testing shot inclused feeding 20-25grams I guess.
Actually, new beans wash the burr everyday at my concept...

BTW, Do you bottom ?? or bottomless already ??
Presurrized filter ? or non-pressurized one hole filter ?

More coffee and try to tamp harder to adjust to find best extraction.

Video shows extraction too fast.

hello ch8444,
try to keep one variable constant sin.
your extraction has so many dead spots, meaning that there was too much resistance.

if i were you, i would try either of the followings.
1. use less coffee and keep the grinder setting unchanged, or
2. grind a little bit coarser and keep the dose unchanged


hope this can improve the taste
