High on caffeine on my way up the road from Oscar�s, I found this shop which was mentioned somewhere before.

Very nice decoration and it serves imported roasted beans from Mexico.

The shop offered various blends on sales (4, IIRC) and the one I had that day (short espresso) was their all arabica blends

The crema was closer to blond. The coffee was bitter, hot, and the rest of the flavor reminded me of an OK day with Illy coffee. Strong note of nut for its aftertaste which I don't like but a good deviation from a "one note" flavor profile I recently had from Australian related coffee/cafe.

I was told the bean was two months from its roasting date, fitting with the taste and flavor that I had in the cup

The great part is that the barista seemed genuinely nice and asked me about my opinion which I typically pulled no punch in giving it out.

In all, I really want to like this café and I will give it a second chance when my caffeine quota was not full like this afternoon.

It could be a good second tier place and seemed to fit the cake and ambience crowd very well with a good play on Mexican theme.
