I don't know how to describe it but just when I want to stop and rest my tiring feet, I found this shop. It was the machine that bears the magical name Faema E61. It really like you seeing light at the end of a dark tunnel.
Went in some days later and met the owner Martin Carven, speaks good English and very freindly and a proud owner of this restored antique 2 E61 group-heads machine. He even showed me the inside and the plumbing. Strangely I found it has an external rotatory pump. (I may be wrong) He use the Mazzer Jolly grinder. The espresso is gernerally good and he works it with passion.
The other time I had another ristretto in the Kolben-Kaffee. It is a place the locals are frequently go just like our ??
BTW I am in Freiburg, Germany for a month and hope to post some pic here. I am asking Shing for help.
