yes.. ???? is for learning how to pull the shots right.. although it isn't necessary but I will definitely recommend it.. because it's hard for a novice to pull a good shot if you can't see what happens inside..
and filter?? is for improving the flow of the espresso.. since the 4020 only comes with a pressurized filter.. it restricts the flow of the espresso.. and you won't get ideal results out of it.. some people will chop off the bottom part of their filters if they can't get a regular one.. but you don't need that anymore.. now you can just order it from Fresh coffee.. i think it's just around 50 dollars..
