Is it necessary to change the grinder setting when change to a different kind of beans? |

the general answer is no...
if you are grinding it for syphon or drip.. don't bother
if you are talking about espresso.. yes.. but only a little.. (micro adjustment)
i found that some beans expand more than others..
and the degree of roast or the roasted date make some difference..
so.. if you found your espresso got stuck or going to fast.. tune your grinder a little _________________ www.zooom.hk -- high speed file transfer |

I think is is depending on the bean.
In my early observation, if the type of processing of the beans(ie. dry, semi-washed, washed.) is being changed, the change of grind setting is large.
Eg. Brazil Santos to New Guniea
I know it is not make sense in chemistry.
Well, the most reliable method, is, to change according to the extraction speed of the coffee.
Traditional, 25sec or so, 30cc coffee.  _________________ Eureka Mignon Hahaha |
