i am no rich, hk$10.00 is more suitable for me.
order by yourself, p/n ss-200-1-0221bt.
you can buy any kind of digital probe thermometer in ssp, after buying the thermometer, measure the probe size, such as 5/32", then go to reclamation street, buy in tube size 5/32" in. , outter connect m6 x 6 or 7mm. must must remember, if measure 1/8", must must buy 1/8" in. in tube. many brands on the reclamation street, no only swaglok ar.

Dear Pillowpaky,
Is the machine in the video yours.
It seems water was running out from the screw hole of the E61 grouphead.
By this method, only static (no loading) temperature can be measured.
When the machine is loaded (with coffee), water would run out much slower (i.e. water stay longer in the heat exchanger to be heated up ) and the brewing temperature (when water meet the coffee) would be higher.
Eric's adaptor make measuring of dynamic temperature possible. As the thermocouple is positioned close to the coffee, the measured temperature is closed to the actual brewing temperature.
There is cheaper method to measure the brewing temperature but less convenient.
Somebody just tie a thermo bead to the screw of the shower screen.
Just my 2 cents.
