Do you have a grinder ? or you just use ground coffee ??
You at least need a good coffee mill and must use fresh coffee beans.
Yes, it is crema.
You sounds want regular coffee with good crema.
I am not sure 2yrs ago there is a Saeco home/office auto machine with a good ceramic grinder burr inside the machine which helps you to have a regular coffee with good crema of course you need to have fresh beans after fried 5says that my personal suggest of the CO2 issue.
