Hi every big brother, I am a new comer, but, would like to purchase a simple and cheaper coffee machine.
What's different between XP5220 & XP5280 ?
Is it a good coffe machine of XP5280 (simple use), or delonghi of BAR14CD is better. |

I don't know the details of the differences beween the two machines you mentioned, but I'd like to suggest something that you may want to consider for buying a new espresso machine.
I know quite a number of users in this forum are current users of or have the experience of using Krups machines (including myself), and many find 4020 is sufficient, and higher end models either offer some sort of features that are not essential, or they impose some restrictions for modifications (e.g. modifications of the portafilter).
If you just want to get a trial of an espresso machine, probably you can get the idea from almost any of the machines.
As we all know, different machines price differently, depending on the features they provide. If you want to compare certain espresso machines (such as Delonghi's), you may need to set forth the set of requirements. What do you need at this stage for the espresso machine? How important these features would be to you, etc. This is quite important because some machines perform better than others in some areas, and other machines may be better in other areas. E.g. some machines work better in making espresso only (perhaps with some minor changes in the portafilter), and some machines work better in forthing milk. |
