this 1:1:1 ratio is always a myth. who whould do double espresso in a standard 6oz cap ?
James Hoffmann digged up some references in his blog a while ago, saying this 1:1:1 ratio is very probably misquoted. the very first appearence of defination of cappucinno says it's a drink of espresso with equal amount of milk and foam (sth goes like that). while the author wants to say espresso + (equal amount of milk and foam), there are certain ppl thinks it means the other way round, i.e. "equal amount of espresso, milk and foam" and make it well known to public... _________________ ???? |
