Hi everybody,
I would like to update as follows:
I still consider Versalab M3 to be the best home espresso grinder.
In the meanwhile, I am using Royal Fuji with teeth burr for brew coffee.
Second hand Super Jolly is still of the highest c/p, if you could find one at $1K2, I have one at my Office.
Just my 2 cents.

DaDaMo CHing , it is a matter of accuracy manufacturing, I just want coffee fan *my own Ideal thinking --> no regret, 1 time spend - No more wastage upgrade.
Complete 100% whole conical burr grinder is the best choice for ESPRESSO, but $ ... e.g. Robur or K-10 Fresh. We can find it from WBC people using today.
M3, best drip, filter and Siphon / Syphon grinder to me.
Fuji may be the 2nd I do not know and sure, of course.
Flat burr grinder, I like Mahlkonig K-30 TWIN best.
Best Multi use grinder is Mahlkonig ProM - Allround , best one for home , since you have 1 great enough for espresso, filter, even French Press. *** excellent size for home too !!!
Thanks for sharing, ALL my recommendation also consider with maintenance and service in the future.
Recently , I compare ??? and ???, side by side same time same bean for espresso, new version ??? with her new grinding burr is better ! If you think later upgrade it is not a bad choice !
What about this ? First ??? new version first, later upgrade to SJ ??

*** By the way, have a consistency dosing is more important !!
I mix commercial and Specialty coffee together to recommend tools.
Aim ->, DRINK coffee, the aim is latte art ? drink coffee ? have fun ? enjoy the processing only ? spend more for coffee beans ? use good enough tools... best brewers I know, use 600N for Siphon, drip, filter , even Blue Mountain No.1 also taste good !!
Why there is no people use best beans for espresso ? e.g. BM#1, Cat shit or COE single origin ? light roast etc etc.... |
