1st try ...
I read about the roasting procedures, and knew about 1st/2nd crack etc but never had the chance to listen to it. 1st try was about knowing that spot. the height made the temp about 200c for the first 6min, then lowered at about 220c till at about 10min and started hearing cracks and it wasnt so clear. I stopped sometimes in between when the cracks settled. i think it's about beginning of 2nd crack.
2nd try ...
i didnt hear the 1st crack at all, but it was already into 15mins. then i started hearing cracks, turned out i missed the 1st crack and the crack at 15min was the 2nd. now i have a full city + roast.
3rd try ...
aimed to stop at the end of 1st crack. but due to uneven rotation n shaking of the beans the result was very uneven.
4th try ...
aimed to stop at the end of 1st crack again. this time even n constant shaking and rotating made it better. 11min 1st crack , 13 min end of 1st crack. seems like a city to city+ to me.
